Inserting Gifs into message deletes text
Whenever I type a message and insert a GIF, the text gets deleted and the gif is posted. I need to edit the message to put my text back in there. Inserting a GIF shouldn't be deleting messages and automatically posting.

Agreed. This is an infraction of usability 101. So irritating it literally infuriates me every time it occurs.
You enter type in the text field, select a gif, and it deletes your text! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
