Ability to toggle Role Icon Visibility in Text Chat

I wish there would be a way to enable/disable the visibility for specific Role Icons in text chat. One could implement this as an additional switch in the display settings of a role above the "Allow everyone to mention this role" permission.

Why? I like the icons because they make it easier to manage/find specific roles if your server has a lot of them. It also would make icons for e.g. Moderators less special/recognizable if every user has one right next to his name.
