Phone Verification for deaf people
For background: I have a hearing disability.
The Highest level of identity verification requires a "Verified phone number":

Only a "mobile number" can be verified and VOIP/Landline numbers aren't eligible.
https://support.discord.com/
My cell phone & mobile number being flagged as "not a mobile number" when I try to verify. I assume that my number is considered a VOIP number because I use a captioning / TTS service that processes my calls so I can read what people are saying during phone calls.
Discord recognizes my cell number as a non-mobile number because of this service, and because of that I can't verify my identity to the "Highest" level.
That the means I am excluded from some communities because of my disability. I cannot participate on servers that require the "Highest" level of verification because my mobile phone number is non-standard.
Discord should provide alternate methods to be verified to the "Highest" level to allow for communities that can't use regular cell phones to participate.

Hi, Sergej,
Sorry to hear that you have a hearing disability. I think there should be 2 ways to verify for the 'highest' level:
1. Phone Number SMS Verification
2. Passport or Drivers License Verification
I wonder what you think about this? Would this help you? I hope it helps everyone in the community without a phone over the age of 18, goodbye!

1 - My phone # can do SMS just fine, but Discord doesn't try to send an SMS because it's a non-standard phone number. If they sent an SMS, or tried to dial the #, it would work out fine.
2 - Disabled people have trouble getting Driver's Licenses, and it shouldn't take citizenship to verify idendity. But sure, any one of dozens of methods of Photo ID work better than "you're going to need to get cell service with Verizon or AT&T or TMobile to get verified and allowed to access servers".
