Discord app will not open on ios (crashes immediately upon opening)

idk what happened but ever since yesterday (October 22, 2021) the discord app on ios refuses to open and crashes immediately which is frustrating since I co-own a server that I constantly get pinged on for support, not being able to access discord on the go is something that needs to be fixed immediately.     This has been happening to me since I updated to iOS 15. Discord please fix!!

    I am unable to even open my app on my iPhone 12. I can see I have a notification from my team, but nothing happens when I try to open the app.

    Glad to see I am far from the only one having this problem! It is crazy that nothing is being done about this.
