Failed to extract installer
Hi there! A few days ago, when I booted up my Discord as usual a message popped up saying I don't have access or permission to update it, or something similar. I tried to uninstall it, but both "Control Panel/Programs and Features" and "Settings/Apps and Features" said something similar: no permission to delete the files... So I deleted them manually from everywhere I could find: Both Appdata and Localappdata and checked Task Manager to see if there are any remaining processes, but there were none. Then I downloaded the Discord setup, but when I tried to run it it just says: Installation has failed; Failed to extract installer.
I saw several videos, a few sites, also here and on Reddit, but most of them repeat the same things: delete files from appdata and localappdata and close remaining processes in Task manager and so on- Things I already tried several times, but still don't help me.
I also tried extracting from the .exe file with 7Zip and then trying to start Discord from the lib folder, but then I got the fatal Java script error.
I would be very appreciative if someone tells me another way of fixing this or directs me to some information, I just really want my Discord back.
