When you unfriend someone why can they still see your account?

They can still see your name and profile but can't chat you.

the name and profile are public, the direct messages chats are not. — if you don't want to see a user, you have to block them, not unfriend.

someone posted an ask to prevent blocked users from seeing your profile (here: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4411883264919-Prevent-Blocked-Users-From-Viewing-Your-Profile ), so that means they still do see it, only you don't see them. I hope that discord changes that.
