Discord will freeze, then the screen will go black and refuse to work until I end the task

On the Discord app for Windows on my computer, the screen will freeze, then go black. I can still interact with it, but I can't see anything that I'm doing. I've tried restarting my machine, and uninstalling/reinstalling Discord, but neither worked. Any help would be appreciated.
