Tell me WHERE the damn beep is coming from already!
There are many other posts about this already, I know, but it's simply infuriating/frustrating/stressful.
If you must beep, then TELL US WHERE THE DAMN BEEP IS FROM already - why hasn't this been done yet?!? No excuse, completely unacceptable!

Either give us a "notification log", or, a clear indication of what just beeped.
As it is now, it's like a bad prank, seems like it's made to be purposefully annoying.
You send a beep as if to say "Hey! This is important." OK, what exactly was it that's so important that you needed to beep at me? Sorry, can't telly you that.
Are you intentionally trolling your users, are you TRYING to drive us nuts?!?
