the sheer amount of people sending identical posts to your site with plenty of reason, as well as the amount of people cancelling their nitro subscriptions, should be plenty of evidence that this is a horrible move. discord as a platform and company will die a fiery death if you choose to follow through with this integration. i don’t know if you care about the environmental ramifications, because at this point it feels hopeless to assume any company as large as discord would. but know that the better half of your user base will pull their money and vanish from your business if you choose to do this, because frankly, ten dollars a month for funny emojis and custom server avatars is meaningless when a company chooses to support an industry that is dropping a massive cinder block on our already sinking ecosystems. it’s a simple choice. keep all your nitro money, or lose it all for a worldwide scam that’s going to eviscerate the planet.
