do not integrate cryptocurrency

climate scientists have estimated we have mere years to change how we operate and mitigate the damage of climate change. cryptocurrency and blockchain tech have a devastating impact on the environment. i would like to add my voice to those urging discord against integrating crypto into its services. i use discord daily and it is my primary method of communicating with friends, but if discord integrates crypto/nfts/etc, i will be forced to change platforms.

    The rate of which crypto/NFT has been picked up in just the last few weeks, it drastically reduces our time to downscale the climate catastrophe, before it's too late to fix it.

    The more big platforms such as Discord do this, the more precious time we'll lose. Otherwise, there is no future to look forward to; Only living hell.
