Discord Should Not Integrate Crypto

Blockchain has a horrible impact on the environment, and it's supremely disappointing (although not surprising) that Discord is seeking to integrate it in some form. Any features tailored to, or specifically targeting cryptocurrency or NFTs demonstrates a lack of regard for the planet in which we all live, and a lack of forethought as well.

I would like to remind the team as well that they once stated they didn't intend to implement end to end encryption because the app wanted to stay focused on gaming. Blockchain and NFTs are way less important to gaming than privacy and encryption is.

I was actually thinking about getting nitro, but I absolutely will never do this if blockchain is supported, and I will likely seek out an application to replace this one, if this proposal moves forward. 

Just, don't do it.
