Yet another reason to not get into NFTs.

H.R.3684 Infrastructure bill passed. Digital Assets are now covered securities. Reporting will be ushered in for all crypto brokers to report to IRS data on activity from 1/1-12/31/23 of all crypto transfers to other non US brokers (private wallets/offshore). In other words NFTs are about to get taxed to hell and back and those dealing with them will likely need to have the social security numbers, and other tax related info of ALL their users not just those using NFTs. My question is do you trust Discord's current security with your social security number? There is no doubt the integration of NFTs and cryptocurrencies will make discord a much bigger target than it was previously. The current vulnerabilities that discord has have not been addressed, nor have we seen any proof that they will be addressed.
