Please listen to the community and stay away from NFT/crypto implementation

Not only are NFTs and cryptocurrency at large terrible for the environment and based on a market of artificially created value, but the way the survey that brought this proposition to light was constructed to allow no negative feedback is extremely underhanded. There are plenty of people who have researched and understand NFTs and therefore want nothing to do with them.

Implementation of these features is not only disrespectful, but dangerous for the future of your platform given how unstable and unmoderated the value of cryptocurrency is as well as the legal framework around it. 

If Discord supports the implementation of crypto and further legal policy cracks down on this currency and related branches of tech, it could mean extremely bad news for the platform's finances that is much better avoided in the first place.

Add to this the amount of your userbase that is formed of content creators who have already been harmed by the NFT/crypto market and this is a terrible choice for maintaining some of your best supporters.

I am adding myself to the number that will be cancelling my Nitro subscription and my account should this feature be implemented. There are other options out there, and I do not need to keep supporting a company who goes so blatantly against their userbase and the health of the world at large.
