do not add crypto or NFT support.
i both don't have nitro and more importantly, am not a shareholder in your business, so this may very well fall on deaf ears, but as somebody who ACTUALLY GETS USE OUT OF your application, i want it to be on record, discord staff, that i am not in favor of the addition of support for cryptocurrency in any capacity. it is insanely wasteful and damaging to the environment relative to how much actual good comes of it, (read: none) attracts scammers and spambots, and waters down communities to next-to-nothing.
that cutesy "probably nothing :3" tweet citron made is better left literally nothing. a good portion of your base does not support this, and nitro users are already cancelling their memberships.

Crypto is like half of the communities on Discord, we get more use out of the app for organising decentralised communities. If you think it has no benefit then id suggest a bit of research before going full Dunning Krueger on us all :P
