Please do not implement NFTs and Cryptocurrency

With the rise of cryptocurrency and NFTs, so has risen the discussion about the environmental effects that come with them. To put it simply, the production of these things is devastating for our real, tangible world. It is not worth putting it in peril for non-tangible profit.

Many people are fundamentally opposed to this market, and although we should always strive to improve, cryptocurrency is the exact opposite of improvement. It is regressive, and there are few people that would actually benefit from this.

Your service is incredible. I've been using Discord to talk to my friends for years, and it's always been a great experience due to the ways you can curate your own experience in every individual server, which is very unlike a lot of instant messengers. I don't wish to support this idea, but I also don't wish to give up on your service because of how accessible it's been.

Please don't alienate most of your userbase by doing this, it's not a worthy business move.
