Please, do not support NFT's

Exciting new technologies emerge every day, however most of them fail as a natural result of exploration, trial and error. One major reason a lot of new tech fails is due to them being old technology with a new coat of paint. NFT's are somehow worse than that, in truth the technology is an incredibly inefficient Decentralized Database. Anything that can be done with a NFT's can be done with a database. The only thing NFT's have over a database is it's decentralized nature, which in many cases is more of a downside than an upside, and in Eth's case isn't even truly decentralized as the art needs to be hosted on a server anyways.
Please consider that this technology is not worth the environmental cost, small as some might argue it is.
