Lost Potential Customer to NFT/Crypto support

I was seriously considering picking up Nitro because of the multiple server profile feature, but after hearing that your organization is considering supporting NFTs and other cryptocurrency, I cannot in good conscience give you my money.

I plead with Discord to consider the longterm environmental and economic impact of supporting what amounts to a pyramid scheme that is draining the planet's limited resources and shutting down sections of the economy that rely on vital computer parts in order to feed a speculative bubble. If this decision is not reversed, I can honestly say that I will never be comfortable considering supporting this service financially.

    Came here to say the exact same thing. I really like the customization options between servers and want to support servers I enjoy. But cryptocurrency is a scam and a waste of every resource that goes into it (really, just commission an artist for a personal piece). There’s no reason for that to be on Discord.
