If you want to kill your app and have another take it's place, by all means keep going in the direction you're going. 

Skype used to be the top voice app and look where it is now. Discord took it's place. Going in this direction just paves the way for someone else to make a better free voice and server app to overthrow discord. 

It happened to Skype, it can happen to Discord. 

For the love of God, don't do it.
