Not only are NFTs a scam that steals art, but NFTs and cryptocurrency both also contribute to climate change with how much energy it consumes and computer parts they use. I've been planning on buying Discord Nitro for a while now, but if you implement integration of of NFTs and cryptocurrency, then I will NEVER buy it, and maybe even jump ship altogether.

    Automated systems are way more efficient, you don’t need to feed bitcoin, you don’t need to build giant skyscrapers, you don’t even need to pay all those people who have to watch for corruption. The idea that crypto damages the environment is false…if we all used it. It would be extremely energy efficient vs banks.

    It's a known fact, Gareth. If NFTs and cryptocurrency weren't so harmful then platforms like Steam wouldn't be banning them left and right.

    (Also, anyone who buys an NFT or is considering buying one needs to touch grass, not the people who don't want climate change to be further accelerated)

    Hmmm, not really digging the ‘questionable financial decisions’ jibe, what’s to question about the fact I have enough to retire before 30? That’s not including NFTs btw, in liquid assets. You guys can fight the future but you’ll eventually go the way of the stagecoach.

    Funny fact when the USA was adopting the motorcar the United Kingdom caved to horse and stagecoach lobbyists. A person who had a car had to wave a flag, drive extremely slowly and loudly announce that they were coming through….despite this, in a decade there were almost NO horses and the car won out.

    Crypto is the car, you can troll, block and generally do what you like…but it’s impossible to stop. Its probably the most anti fragile technology on the planet, have fun staying poor ;)

    Ending the forum here, peace out. Need to pick out the house I’m buying in cash from my questionable financial decisions 😅 my life is good (great family, friends and true freedom), I don’t really concern myself with what you guys say here beyond mild curiosity whilst travelling
