NFTs are a scam, and ignoring the backlash isn't gonna save you

Discord, I've been using your services since 2016 via various accounts over the years and didn't imagine I would cease doing so anytime soon. However, with the recent announcement from your CEO that you will be delving into cryptocurrency and NFTs, I can't in good conscious support your platform financially and will be looking for alternative services if this is the direction you continue to take. The lack of any response to this whole ordeal is quite frankly laughable, and I can guarantee that the hundreds of posts here calling you out for participating in what is basically money laundering are just going to keep piling up if you stay silent. Listen to the people who actually use your platform, Discord; don't buy into the crypto hype.

Thank you for linking that article, it's an incredibly rich source of information. It is crucial we help people understand why NFTs are not revolutionary or good. I really hope Discord reconsiders, it would be a shame to move my communities elsewhere :/
