throwing my voice into the pool of "no NFTs or else" posts

popular cryptocurrencies in their current state are not environmentally sustainable and i will refuse to support the implementation of them until this is fixed.

before cryptobros come in here telling me that i should do my "research" i did! and as it turns out, i'm correct! ethereum devs literally admitted that their current blockchain uses more energy than an entire country and uses an insane amount of energy per transaction and that they plan to change that in the future but as it currently stands, it still uses wasteful methods and the currently planned version will not be released until Q2 2022 (assuming it isn't delayed since it's practically vaporware at this point).

i refuse to support a platform that will condone any form of eth, btc, or NFTs until a more environmentally sustainable version of these things is normalized.

oh, and it's a pyramid scheme and a playground for scammers too, so you'd also be supporting all that... lol. just don't do it, period.
