Other things I've been thinking about in lieu of the NFT/Crypto concerns
After seeing no response on them either walking back on it or saying anything about their plans to implement something this grossly greedy scam, I decided I needed to place some other worries I have about what would happen if it was implemented
We all know that NFTs and crypto in general are a money laundering scam that hurt the environment, steal from artists and drive the value of the company down. On top of that, a new crypto tax was introduced, making it so that these transactions can be tracked and reported to the IRS.
My other worries for this implementation are as follows:
-Will this new implementation of linking your crypto account also lead to further development of "mining" software (very similar to some kind of malware, virus, etc) that can be installed involuntarily to your computer upon downloading, installing, and booting up Discord?
-With the price of gas and fossil fuels going up partly because of the NFT craze that has been going on for the last several months, is Jason benefitting from this in any way shape or form? Like hoping to drive the prices up so he could have an excuse to charge more for, say, Nitro?
-Is the MLM (multi-level market) that he's seemingly collabing with also benefiting from what appears to be them taking a chance on trying to gain maximum profit before they get taxed by the IRS?
-Is Jason, the MLM or both attempting to money launder as we speak and had it been planned even before the NFT thing got out of control?
To the cryptobros, we're not stupid and you're either really ignorant to the real harms this could bring to everyone or know and are willing participants, consequences be damned. Because you benefit from it as the internet's 2%
