I had consider Nitro as I'd like to get into streaming, but after the NFT anouncement? I'll never get it.

To whom it may concern,

NFT's are extremely detrimental to the environment. It takes an absurd amount of energy to mine NFT creates deadly carbon emissions. We are in a climate crisis, what are discord execs thinking?

Saying you are taking a "pause" after backlash isn't enough. You need to commit to ending the plan entirely. Discord may be popular, but the user base can and will find another platform should this plan continue.

    I bought nitro because of NFT's

    Web 3 is the future, and Ethereum's transition to proof of stake (99% less energy intensive) will make it's implementation into discord even more valuable!
