Calander for Events

With Discord adding the events section, it would be cool to have a calander where we can see all upcoming events more clearly, that all members can access, much more clean and accessible. Taking it a step further making the calander personal to you, if you are running multiple gaming events in your community, your members might not be interested in certain events, they also may belong to other communities, so having a way for not only the community to colour code their own events, but for the person to then organize to see all the events they see to be arranged in their own way, maybe even with community logos appearing on them.

I personally would like the calander to be for person use, maybe to set a reminder for an upcoming streamer I want to watch, or to remind me when an E3 stream is happening. Would really like to see this fleshed out more, not just for games but accross the board.

    Another cool feature would be able to cap the event at a set amount of people, say for instance if you are having a game or server with only 12 spaces, people register if they will be there or of course the option to have unlimited. For people maybe having the option of yes no maybe and interested (when full). Only a yes will secure the spot and if the cancel this will notify people who where interested or maybe.

    100% what you said, but before a cap, be nice to have more than just Interested, such as Will Attend, Maybe Attend as a forerunner to the idea of a cap.

    A personal calendar in the app would be so useful. Already this is a much easier solution then the previous alternative bots, but I’m worried that it might be difficult to keep track of events that I’m interested in across multiple servers.

    Yeah I mean they should be able to come up with a unique way for servers to set different ways to identify each event, maybe through set colour pallet, unique icons or badges to appear in the calander.

    Personal use hopefully then we can assign different colours from the pallet (e.g metal colours or unique badges

    At least, a server-wide list of events would be great.

    Currently, you have to check every server 1 by 1 for scheduled events. It would be great to see everything on the same place so you don't miss something..

    After giving feedback on the idea to my community, it seems that for game event they want more information.

    You could show a small compact badge with, Game Name, Activity, Time, maybe a logo. You could click to expand into more information. Activity is a big one thats missing because many of our games are MMOs which have many varying activities that not everyone is interested in

    Make it like a big form where you can check which bits of info youd like to be shown to your members if you want to go into specifics. Set caps or make it unlimited, send to certain groups or people. That way gamers on a community wont get notifications or invites avout games they dont care about
