I think users under 13 should be allowed
To be honest, I think users under the age of thirteen should be allowed. People say it's cause of COPPA law, but none of those. To my knowledge, COPPA law is a law that is intended to protect children's privacy, such as personal information. I've been using Discord for years, and they never asked me for any information other than my birthdate and region. I think it's unfair to children, since I found some of them on my Discord server, they were really kind, but unfortunately I had to ban them. If Discord allows users under 13 on their platform, their platform would really get benefited, but yet I don't understand why users under 13 aren't allowed.
Another reason is for them to not see things not appropiate for their age. Ah come on, this is silly, if not, why do NSFW channels exist? Of course there are NSFW emojis, but servers have an option to not let anyone use another server's emojis. If Discord thinks this rule is good for "PrOtEcTiNg cHiLdReN" I respect it, but with all these arguments I pointed out I think it's stupid.

not happening, for the same reason almost the entire rest of the internet won't allow people under 13 to make accounts (and the few that do heavily restrict communication)

Remember that they can make a bad choice on Discord, unfortunately, it may be right not to be on discord before they reach full thought maturity. We don't want them to make bad mistakes, do we?

They can't legally agree to the ToS. This is why it's not allowed. Legal reasons not some other thing.

its a legality thing. why do literally every other social media platforms also have the "keep anyone under 13 out" rule? its a law.
