Thread implementation
Why ohh why did you not implement threads like Slack, discord threads are clunky and useless, and cause more problems than they solve. I was so excited to hear you were implementing threads, i use them extensively at work on Slack, and i love them. But on discord they are worse than useless, they actively hamper communication rather than allowing it. Please fix to be like Slack, you have a model to follow, you don't have to reinvent the wheel of someone already made an awesome version. Copy what works in as legal a way as possible. But the current implementation is unusable.

You might consider giving specific examples of what Slack does that Discord does not, because as a heavy Discord user, and occasional Slack user, I'm not seeing much difference between the two myself, at least with threads. The only difference of note that I know of is you need to name the thread in Discord, so I see how that may break flow.
I've been using the current implementation quite a bit and have found it useful, but I treat them more like temporary channels or forum threads.0
