Tritanomalia must be especially difficult on a website that used different-in-intensity shades of blue - for both the background and the accents 😔.

for designers: the beta app is going in a somewhat better direction. —  from a graphic designer POV, the rule of the thumb would be that if an RGB colour puts all the values in either: R, G, RG, or B component of it — it's going to be practically invisible to a user who can't tell that colour from its background. — so desaturating that migraine-blue by adding some RG to it — has an extra benefit of making it visible in a monochrome screen setting — since now it's noticeably a little brighter than the background, while back when I had to turn off the colours in order to be able to use discord at all — the nightmare blue was near as dark as the darkmode background. —

there's a lots of guides and svg/css-filter-based emulators/patches for colour accessibility modes — esp. the invisible and the identical colours would need to be a bit tweaked to become more visible — for tritanomaly specifically, the discord version of the ":fearful:/😨" emoji could be easily mistaken with the ":worried:/😟" emoji, bc the extremely similar brightness of blue and yellow in the Discord versions of these - can make the bright blue very difficult to notice 🤔.

(of course, speaking of emojis, there's the matter of the black ones now being, for these last couple of months, almost exactly the same shade as the newly-darker darkmode background, even for users with a perfect colour perception.)
