Nitro cancellation is not explained properly

The screen to cancel Nitro is unclear about the actual process, and whether cancelling means ending all perks immediately (regardless of what has been paid for) or whether it means not renewing the subscription when the billing period ends.

If I click "cancel" within the subscriptions page of the Discord app, I get warned that I will lose my perks. I have heard mixed messages about what this means - some people say that you keep your perks until the end of the month for a monthly subscription, but nothing about what happens with a yearly subscription and nothing from an official source.

The fact that you can't set your subscription to NOT auto-renew, and that the cancellation screen obfuscates what will actually happen upon cancellation, seems designed to trick people into staying subscribed rather than actually creating a service they would want to subscribe to.
