New events indicator
(This is more like a client feature request)

Now after guild events have been released there are more and more events. This morning I asked for a stream/event and was told there's already an event and i got annoyed that there's no more obvious way of seeing if there's a new event in a guild.
So I've come up with an idea:

Why not display a ping like indicator that shows if/how many new events there are that you could be interested in.

Why this is needed

This would probably raise the number of members who see new events and then know about them before they start because lets be fair nobody notices if there's a 1 or a 0 next to the "Event" at the top of the channel list (if its even visible when having a ton of channels).
It wouldn't notify you (could do it tho) but it would only be an indicator only visible when in the channel list and not in guild list.

A system message like "{user} planned a new event" in the guilds system channel
