Server notifications notify me but when someone sends me a direct message nothing comes in

I've been dealing with this for almost a year now. My discord notifications are all enabled and my DMs are set as Priority on every single phone I have had over the year. Not once has a single direct message notified me. However, everyone else's has. Some posts say update it, and I have and nothing has happened. I have given up on what to do because my system notifications is enabled for my DMs and on Discord all notifications are on.

    I have the same issue for the past few months and still dont know what to do I hope they see this and fix it I even swapped to my other account on my phone and it gave me notifications then but not my main so its gotta be an account issue its like they banned our accounts from notifications for our DMs, your not alone and Im super mad about it I hope they see this for I have giving up

    Hey just wanted to ask did you ever figure it out or got it fix and if so can u tell me how cause nothing has changed and I tried getting help from discord but the automated responses do nothing and after a while they just ignore me just curious

    I have the same issue and emailed support for years now and nothing was done in regards to the problem, this is such a huge pain. I will never recommend discord to any of my friends and will actively discourage others from using it because it has been so broken for me for so long and nothing was done to mitigate this damn issue

    @TheIrishPotato Nope, still haven't fixed it. Even dug through developer settings to see if it's just a bug in the app and no warnings for it went through so I'm 100% for sure it's an account issue.

    This has happened on the following phones I've owned and tested.

    Google Pixel 6 (Main Phone)
    Galaxy Z Flip
    Galaxy S20 FE
    iPhone 6S
    Moto G Play
    And a not-so-smart phone.

    No dice on any of them
