Discord verification

It would be nice if discord would send the "Forgot Password" thing to your phone number if you had one linked to your account, But no what's the point of saying check your messages on your phone number and it says check your email. What if you lost your email? I still don't get why discord says that if you lose your account create another. What if you had important stuff on there that you need or had a discord server created with like 100 members in it. What if discord lost their website code if they have one or lost something they need and they contact Google and Google says create a new website or smth. Discord will care at that point. Discord please fix this problem and acually do phone verification and send the verification code to your number instead of email because it would not make sense if u send a message and it says check your email that's the same thing that happend to me today and the reason I'm posting this message. I got my account back but I always want it.

    @[๐ŸŒŸ]ย ๐–„๐–”๐–š๐–—๐•ฎ๐–†๐–๐–Ž๐–‰๐•ฏ๐–Š๐–› I've had the same issue as you, only to an extreme, now that I'm locked out of my account entirely due to no longer being able to bypass 2FA because I lost my ability to gain access to google authenticator on my lost phone. I think it's a wise choice to be able to authenticate based solely on the email verified in the account itself, and like in ROBLOX, allow some sort of internal security measure, such as a 4 digit code.
