Make Server Boosts Permanent

I don't mind nitro being a subscription and giving special perks to it's subscribers, but I think it's dumb that whatever boosts you put into a server get taken away when cancelling a subscription or can't afford to pay it anymore. Server boosts should be permanent and server patrons should not be forced to pay a monthly subscription to boost their favorite server to keep certain server features for all the patrons of that server.

    Hey Jacqora,

    Boosted servers use more resources in the Discord datacenters. The reason why boosting is a monthly subscription, other than more predictable income for the company is that its making sure that Discord isn't losing any money for giving those specific servers extra resources.

    That being said though, Discord should look into how expensive a one time boost purchase would be. Fair warning though, I doubt it would be less than 100$/€ for the 1st level.
