Samsung Galaxy 21+

I recently switched from Apple to Android and had a XS Max and went to a Samsung Galsxy 21+. When I am on discord mobile and I'm in a private call or a server channel, my headphones will not recognize discord. I have Powerbeats Pro. I had no problem with my IPhone and I even tried some cheap off brand wireless headphones and with both my pros and the off brand, I could listen to Spotify no problem and hear the music but when I am in Discord, I can't hear anyone talking. Is there any solution for this that I'm missing as a new Andriod user? Also is there anyway to listen to music and be in discord call at the same time. Thank you.
