Discord Phone Verification

THIS IS SO STUPID!!

For no reason, they just magically want me to verify my phone number because "something out of the ordinary is going on." I would verify using my phone number EXCEPT I DONT HAVE ONE!!!! Just amazing, there goes a year of friends, bot data, servers and all of my stuff! It isn't fair! Some people don't want to share their phone number, or just dont have one, why can't discord ask for something simpler like 2FA??
