Anyone else getting banned from discord by bots / for the wrong reasons?

     I have been reading a lot of stuff in the last week about sweeping bans from discord. For me, just being IN the wrong server was enough, although the ban reason was that I was the server owner. I was not the server owner, although I think I was a mod? I don't remember.

     In case anyone at discord cares to look into the case, my username was Lσƈƙʂɱιƚԋ#5057 .. My story - I was in a channel called PVP, who goes out and catches predators. Apparently that is against discord's tos.. So, instead of warning anyone, they banned the server, the owner and a lot of the people that were in the server including any staff, and a few random people, including me.

     Discord can do whatever they want, and that's fine. I am not a rule breaking kind of guy, but the fact that the 100's of OTHER channels that are the same thing with different people, are still on discord, and did not have any ill effects. I can only assume the rules, as USUAL, only apply in some cases and for "Me but not THEM".

     The other issue is that I have nitro, and from what I have read, the horror stories include people have to contact their bank to dispute the charges as they cannot log in to cancel it. Support has been 100% silent, save for a canned email as follows...

     However, they obviously care more about banning people without the resources to properly investigate at all, nor even respond to _MY_ silly request so that I can have my freinds list and server list back. They are WAY to busy, and I am WAY ti un-important for "them" to fool with.

     Hopefully, a better service will arise and we will get SOME kind of freedom of expression, but discord is NOT it. They play the same silly "rule shuffle" game as the rest of social media. I hope people read this and one of you make a better platform for "social media" because frankly what we have sucks.

     To "them" : I am SO sorry I hurt your little feelings and you thought it right to just simply ban me from your silly little chat service. In the big scheme of things I really could care less. However, this practice seems really scammy since you are still siphoning REAL MONEY from my bank account while denying me the service.

     As I'm sure this will get deleted, lets not forget where CENSORSHIP gets us folks. If you value the freedoms that people have fought and died for, I suggest you take a good look at what is going on, and act accordingly. Sorry for the long rant. If you made it THIS far, get a cookie.
