Finding new friends on discord

Hello, I'm a daily user of discord and was surprised I couldn't find anything available where I was able to meet other people who had discord aside from other servers. I think it would be cool if there was a way to meet new friends on discord. I believe there's nothing like it now because then it would be linked close to other social sites but maybe there is a way to meet others

    Why would you want such a thing? Servers are, in my opinion, perfect for meeting new people.  You can really easily find someone with similar hobbies.

    Why would you not? This would make it possible for people specifically searching for new friends with similar hobbies.
