The wierd popup

So like i was chatting with a friend and then i get blocked from discord. It says that i need to verify my phone number in order to continue. Like first why it should not ask you that. And i am 14. How in the heck can a 14 year old have a phone number? Like bruh. It got the same for my brother and he has a phone number so he verified and nothing happened. Literly discord. Why.
