Mention a message or beautify message link

I would love to see a better display of message links we send.

I feel like mention format can fit well : Instead of having a big link, we could see a nice mention with a little info about the message, when you click it it still bring you to the message as the old link would do.

This is different from "reply" feature here I mean to mention any message on any channel, anywhere. (As soon as the user seeing the mention can access the message with his permissions)

    Please!! This is such a necessary feature! The "replies" feature has it right where it includes a preview of the message and clickable link back to the original. But replies only work within the same channel. What if you want to grab a reply from a different channel,  or a different server? Why doesn't this work the same as #channel links?

    If privacy is an issue, I think it's completely reasonable that DMs or private servers couldn't have their messages embedded from outside, but message links should absolutely function the same as replies.

    How do I use it. My message links still paste as regular links. I can see other people's nice looking message links but mine don't do it. I am on PC.
