How are support tickets for hacked accounts handled?
I recently let my self doubt get the better of me and fell for one of those "try my game :)" scams, and I filed a support ticket to get my hacked account back. Beyond getting a scripted reply saying my ticket's been escalated, I'm completely in the dark on what Discord's doing. I've looked everywhere online, but I've been unable to find any explanation for what happens asides from "file a ticket and wait anywhere from weeks to months." Does anyone have any insight into what exactly happens between filing a ticket and you getting your account back?

Sadly, there isn't much contact from Discord you'll receive. Based off the fact this happened to me right before Christmas and I didn't get my account back until just after new years I would say they work hard on recovering accounts back. Provide as much information as possible to help expedite the process.

Hope the best of luck to you and hopefully Discord Support get your situation taken care of. Have patience, and don't forget that 2fa is an amazingly strong way to keep your account secure but the best way is to be very cautious of clicking on any unknown links or applications!0 -
Yeah I sent an email as well since I was also got by the "Try my game scam". Been waiting for days and still no update from them other than the whole "We've escalated your ticket" message. Also having 2fa is very important but not in this case because this scam will just override the 2 step sadly.

Also the hacker has access to help desk

i had the 2fa on before i lost it
does that help with the problem of getting it back ?0
