Category Summary Counter Feature

I tried to use the category accordion to minimize the text channels in my view but it can only be used when all the channels within that category is read and/or is muted.

Closed:

Closed after everything is read:

I didn't want to mark everything as read, I just wanted to minimize the category without any channel falling behind just for a better view.

So I was thinking, maybe there could be a summary counter of all the notifications you have in all channels within that category. So you can still close the category either way without any channel getting left behind when it's not read.
