I can't join this server.

So, I got banned from a server but I was told that they were going to unban me. Then they tried to unban me but the mods said it wasn't working.

    One of the reasons that might be causing this issue is that they didn't actually unbanned your account.

    or you have another alt account which is banned on your server therefore you are unable to join the server with your main account
