I recently made a new server and invited some people who I thought would fit well in that server. 4 people said it was against your ToS and it was DM advertising. I don't get how that is DM advertising. one of them blocked me and 2 of them reported me because i got 2 warnings from a bot. Can someone tell me if they are right? because i don't get how that is dm advertising. I have had so many people send me random invite links.

    Depending on the server rules, they do not allow sending unsolicited invite links.

    Always ask before just sending an invite. It's basic etiquette and most people get sent many unsolicited links they find it frustrating and obnoxious and that's why most servers have rules against it.
