Add AV1 embed support PLEASE!
(I know this has been mentioned before multiple times, however no response has been made, and the last post someone made was 7 months ago)
Discord can embed GIF, H.264, VP8, VP9, Vorbis, WAV, FLAC, MP3, AAC, HE-AAC and I'm pretty sure there's a couple more. It's time for AV1. More and more stuff is being encoded in it, and it's no longer this weird exclusive thing. More and more streaming services are using it (YouTube, Netflix, etc), and it would be pretty easy to implement - Discord already includes a H.264 and a VP9 software decoder, and allows for use of a hardware ones if detected. Heck, you can even preview AVIF images in Discord, meaning the decoding framework is already present. All that the devs should need to do is to toggle compatibility, and allow using the hardware decoder for video if it's available. Thanks a lot!
Additionally: The Electron framework Discord uses already supports it. A user in the past has commented that they have been able to get it working. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/587033245061873759/937449352824225822/unknown.png

I see devs having no interest in this, even though you can stream AV1 (only RTX40 users sadly).
And don't forget, I have tried .ogg file encoded with Opus audio codec and it plays fine too. But no xHE-AAC yet sadly.0
