[Suggestion] Bring back enter sends message as toggle on iOS / iPadOS
I use a physical keyboard on my iPad, including on Discord. After the last update, the option to have messages send when enter is pressed was removed. I confirmed that this is not a bug with the help staff, this is an intentional feature of the latest update (Feb 15, 2022).
Please consider reinstating this option as a toggle-able option, as not having this functionality with the magic keyboard attachment makes it much clumsier and more annoying to chat with the iPad, which is where I spend most of my time on Discord these days (lighter than my laptop, but quicker than my phone).

Definitely agree with this. It's super cumbersome to have to press the send button to send a message, especially in fast moving chats/back and forth conversations.
Facebook messenger did this a few months back and it was a huge pain. I literally went out of my way to avoid using the app to respond because it just was not natural to me at all to have to press the send button instead of enter. They ultimately reverted the change and I hope you guys do the same. Thanks.

This is an unbelievably bad change. Now using an external keyboard has different behaviors for Discord on desktop and tablets. I can still send a message on my PC using the enter key — why should it be different on my iPad? It makes no sense.
Every other messaging app on my iPad allows me to use enter to send a message. Why do the Discord UX designers think they know better than those applications, especially when Option-Enter was a shortcut that worked very well to enter a carriage return?

Just got off with discord support and they say it’s a know bug, however they said they don’t know when it will be fixed yet. Hopefully it’s soon

Discord support won't even admit this is a bug. In an email exchange they called it a feature request. Horrible.
