Nitro Subscription Plan Revamp
Honestly, I didn't wanted to feedback this to everyone, seeing that the dark side of discord may exist. But support much preferred me to do so:/ (Honestly I am still confused why and still salty about it. It shouldn't had to have it under feedback.)
I will summarize what I have said.
In short, Nitro Subscription Plans are currently flawed. If you did not know, when you switch a plan halfway, you gain a discount base on how closed it is to the ending date of subscription.
For example, if you bought a regular $9.99 Nitro at 1st of January, at 31st of January if you want to switch to the Nitro with 28 boosts, it may cost around $5.8. May I remind you, you have 31st January, 1st February, 2nd February, 3rd February and 4th February. Since your nitro ends at 1st February, if you boost a server 14 times(to Level 3), they also gain a 3 day grace period before losing Level 3. Meaning you paid only about $5.8 for a 5 day level 3 boost. You get the idea. (Sorry if my Math is wrong on this, but the basic point is still there. I had to convert between currency and my previous Math may have been wrong to begin with.) And this $5.8 can boost 2 servers to level 3, so its more as if $2.9 for 5 days worth of boost.
I have a few suggestions to counter this.
1) All Nitro Plans can't be switched until the starting date. (Meaning if you switch a Nitro Plan, it will only be effective on the next billing Date.) Obviously some people do want boosts, so boost are sold separately and have a different lasting period. This would be messier for people to handle but it would be better to counteract. (Plus, you can have the option to integrate the boost in the next nitro plan while having the extra boost duration discounts the new plan.)
2) A One Day Grace Period instead of a 3 day one. This would require more money but in theory should still cost lesser than the expected cost, I wouldn't recommend it.
3) Boost bought during the last 3 days doesn't count towards server boost count. I don't think this should even be used, but if worst comes to worst this is an option.
