Delete/Hide Direct Message

Isn't it already there for Desktop And Web Clients? On hovering over a DM you can see a "X" button and if you click on it, it will close the DM. It will open only if a new message from that DM comes or when you click message on a user's profile.

we want to delete the entire conversation at once, and opening it later doesn't open as an old message like close dm function, and it should open as a new conversation. because privacy is more important.

I also have to agree with you all I would love to have the option to be able to delete a whole direct message chat and start a fresh one whenever I want. There are times where I want to send things that I don't want other people to see and I can't because even if I close the dm as soon as I reopen all of the messages are there. I understand that they give us the option to delete our side of the chat but if the other person doesn't delete there messages that they replied then anyone can see what was written and could figure it out. I also feel like if you're going to give us an option to delete just specific messages then why can you not give us the option to also delete the whole thing including the other person's responses.
