Why is Cordless not allowed?

I understand the reasoning for banning betterdiscord, as it hosts plugins that allow users to see things that they are not supposed to see, however, all cordless does is provide a more lightweight version of discord that is accessible on the console.

I had been wanting something like Cordless for a while, but when I found it, I was disappointed to see that the owner himself along with other people had received bans for using the software. Seeing as Cordless only uses the official discord API, with nothing else third party, has no inherent support for plugins, potentially malicious plugins, like better discord, I struggle to understand the reasoning behind these bans.
