Feedback: Implementing a custom subscription model for Nitro?
I just wanted to provide some feedback about the Nitro subscription. There has been a shift in subscription models in some industries, for example in some telecom companies, in which people can make custom subscription plans tailored to their needs and budget. I think it may be in Discord's interest to do something of the sort--instead of two plans with a set price, allow users to build their experience themselves with a series of opt-ins that individually cost money. Let's take the premium plan, which is 9,99$ a month. For this you get a lot of bells and whistles which you present as falling under 11 categories. If you charge, say, 1,50$ per category (or lets say some categories are more expensive to maintain, you could have each category be a different price), then allow people to opt in to options, then someone like me who is interested only in the increased message character count will subscribe and take only that, someone who wants custom profiles and streaming will opt into those, etc., and you can either make it so that full nitro looks like a discount compared to opting into all of the perks individually, or price it at 16.50$. Just a suggestion, because as it is Nitro is much too expensive for the function I am interested in.
