Epilepsy-safe mode
GIFs with flashing images can be dangerous or disturbing to people with photosensitive epilepsy, at first thought you would think that adding a spoiler tag would help but due to how the spoiler tags work by simply bluring the images behind, it doesn't really change the flashing lights aspect of the issue
To work around that it would be great to have an option in the settings to help photosensitive people by disabling gif autoplay and only have the gifs play when you hover over them (with an indication that the image is a gif)
It would also be nice to add flashing light detection AI to automatically add a spoiler tag with a flashing lights warning on top of media that contains flashing lights if possible
Thanks for considering this option, i'm sure it could help many people such as myself, stay safe love you
