Phone Verification Timeout

[ I have already submitted to discord support team, I just want to see if any other person had witnessed this ]

What /is/ phone verification timeout? I've seen and heard about it, but I cannot understand what is its main point? I have tried making an alt account for myself, and they required full verification. So, I put in my phone number that was connected to my main account. Less than a minute, my alt that I created and verified was immediately suspended, saying it violated their rules/TOS. I recieved an email of my main account, saying, that my phone number has been removed and moved to that specific alt account. Now, I cannot verify myself back into my main. I can't do anything on the app on PC, browser nor on my phone/ipad or anywhere else, its just gone. I cannot log in until I completely verify my phone into it thats moved to that alt account thats now suspended.
What is going on? How can I fix this and for how long do I have to wait to get access back to my original account?? I have too many servers I moderate and own myself, too many connections with people + the account if 5 years old. I do not want to lose it, if that's the case.

Basically your phone number is on timeout after it's been used for one account. You should wait about 5 to 7 days before you van use it again. If you don't get your phone number back after that then it means you can no longer use it on Discord unless you appeal a ticket and request for your number to be removed for your alt. Also the Discord Support Team is busy with stuff like this so if you make a ticket it may take a few days for a response
